S.W.A.P

With the high cost of living and surge in inflation in Singapore, migrant workers are currently experiencing difficulties in obtaining their necessities. Support organisations addressing migrant workers’ welfare faced challenges in helping them to obtain much-needed donated resources.  In consultation with ItsRainingRaincoats, a Singapore non-profit organisation that aims to build bridges of integration between migrant workers and residents of Singapore, the team created a web application to make it more convenient for migrant workers to obtain the items they need. With the app, the migrant workers are able to check for the availability of items needed and book a time slot to collect them.  The app can also direct migrant workers to various welfare organisations providing essential services.
