Urban Renew: Towards Zero Waste 

Team Urban Renew aims to recycle plastic waste into premium filaments for additive manufacturing, promoting a sustainable circular economy for a cleaner and greener future while striving to achieve a zero-waste future. 

Towards Zero Waste is an innovative project that aims to tackle the pressing issue of single-use plastic waste by transforming it into trendy, customized lifestyle products and recycled filaments for additive manufacturing. 

By collecting everyday plastic waste, the initiative proposes a sustainable alternative to utilizing new plastics, creating items like 3D filaments, coasters and fashion accessories.  

Targeting makers, 3D hobbyists and sustainability groups, this project aims to educate youths through workshops in schools, emphasizing sustainable living practices. Products will be promoted and showcase at various events to further advocate for a sustainable lifestyle.
